Double Crisis is a documentary photography series capturing the aspirations, strength, and resilience of social movements across Northern California during the summer of 2020 and at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I captured the cultural and sociopolitical response to the police murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd and used this artwork to raise over $7,000 donated to organizations addressing mental health in the Black community, education access, and the centuries-old issue of police brutality.
Locations include, but are not limited to, the California State Capitol in Sacramento and Oakland City Hall.
